1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the ColorTriox website, tools, pages, features, and services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.
These Terms apply to every visitor and user of ColorTriox. You do not need to create an account or log in to use the currently available tools.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should stop using ColorTriox and its tools.
2. Description of the Service
ColorTriox provides free browser-based color and design utilities.
Available tools may include:
- Color Picker
- Image Color Picker
- Color Palette Generator
- HEX to RGB Converter
- RGB to HEX Converter
- Gradient Generator
- Contrast Checker
- Color accessibility tools
- Color code converters
- Other related design utilities
The available tools, features, designs, functionality, and supported file types may be updated, replaced, restricted, or discontinued at any time.
ColorTriox does not guarantee that every tool or feature will remain permanently available.
3. No User Account Required
ColorTriox currently does not require users to register, create an account, choose a username, or provide a password.
The website does not currently provide:
- User profiles
- Membership accounts
- Login dashboards
- Paid subscriptions
- Account-based cloud storage
Users are responsible for maintaining access to their own devices, browsers, files, internet connections, and locally saved information.
Because no user account is provided, ColorTriox may not be able to recover deleted palettes, browser preferences, tool history, or other locally saved information.
4. Browser Storage
Some ColorTriox tools may use browser storage technologies, such as LocalStorage, to save preferences, themes, selected colors, recent values, palettes, or bookmarks on the user’s device.
Information stored in the browser may be deleted when users:
- Clear browser data
- Clear LocalStorage or cookies
- Use private or incognito browsing
- Change browsers
- Change devices
- Reinstall or reset the browser
ColorTriox does not guarantee that locally stored preferences or saved palettes can be restored or recovered.
Browser-stored information should not be treated as a permanent backup.
5. Uploaded Images and Files
Some ColorTriox tools may allow users to select or upload images and other supported files for color extraction, analysis, conversion, or processing.
Users are responsible for ensuring that:
- They have permission to use the uploaded file.
- The file does not violate copyright, privacy, or other legal rights.
- The file does not contain malware or harmful code.
- The file is not illegal, abusive, or prohibited.
- Confidential or sensitive files are not uploaded without understanding how the tool processes them.
File-processing methods may differ between tools.
Some tools may process files inside the browser, while other features may require temporary server or third-party processing.
Do not claim that all files remain on the user’s device unless this has been technically verified.
ColorTriox must not be used as a permanent file-storage or backup service.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, the ColorTriox name, logo, branding, website design, written content, original graphics, illustrations, user interface, and custom website code belong to ColorTriox or their respective lawful owners.
Users may not copy, republish, sell, reproduce, or distribute substantial portions of the ColorTriox website, design, branding, or proprietary source code without permission.
Ordinary color values, including HEX, RGB, HSL, and similar color codes, may be used in personal and commercial design projects.
Palettes, gradients, and color combinations generated using ColorTriox may generally be used in personal, educational, and commercial projects.
Users remain responsible for checking whether a particular logo, uploaded image, brand identity, or third-party material is protected by intellectual-property rights.
ColorTriox does not claim ownership of files uploaded by users.
7. Permitted Use
Users may use ColorTriox for lawful activities, including:
- Website design
- Application design
- Graphic design
- Branding projects
- Personal creative projects
- Commercial design projects
- Educational work
- Research
- Color conversion
- Palette generation
- Contrast checking
- Accessibility testing
- Learning about color and design
Generated color codes, gradients, and palettes may be used in personal and commercial projects, subject to applicable law and third-party rights.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Upload malware, viruses, harmful scripts, or malicious files.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, server, database, or administration area.
- Bypass security controls or technical restrictions.
- Disrupt or interfere with the normal operation of the website.
- Overload the website using automated requests, bots, or abusive scraping.
- Copy the complete website design or proprietary source code without permission.
- Misrepresent themselves as ColorTriox.
- Violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or other legal rights.
- Upload files they do not have the right to use.
- Use the website to distribute unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive material.
- Attempt to reverse engineer protected parts of the website.
- Use automated systems in a way that reduces website availability for other users.
9. Accuracy of Tools
ColorTriox tools are provided for general design, educational, and informational purposes.
Results may include color values, conversions, contrast ratios, color names, generated palettes, gradient codes, accessibility suggestions, and image color extraction results.
Results may vary due to display calibration, screen quality, browser differences, device settings, operating systems, color profiles, image compression, printer settings, file quality, and rounding methods.
ColorTriox does not guarantee that every result, conversion, color name, recommendation, or calculation will be completely accurate in every situation.
Users should independently verify important technical, printing, branding, commercial, or accessibility-related results.
10. Accessibility Information
ColorTriox may provide contrast checkers, accessibility information, color-vision previews, and other tools intended to assist designers and developers.
These tools may help identify certain color and usability concerns, but automated results may not detect every accessibility issue.
Using a ColorTriox accessibility tool does not guarantee that a website, application, document, or design fully complies with every accessibility guideline, law, regulation, or standard.
Users remain responsible for reviewing content structure, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, forms, images and alternative text, focus indicators, color contrast, interactive controls, mobile accessibility, and overall implementation.
11. Third-Party Services
ColorTriox may contain links to third-party websites, resources, tools, advertisements, APIs, or embedded services.
Third-party websites operate under their own terms of use, privacy policies, cookie policies, security practices, and content standards.
ColorTriox does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, products, services, content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices.
The presence of an external link does not necessarily mean that ColorTriox recommends or endorses that third party.
12. Advertisements
ColorTriox may display advertisements, sponsored links, or promotional content provided by third-party advertising partners.
ColorTriox does not manufacture, sell, control, or guarantee products and services offered by advertisers.
Any communication, transaction, purchase, or agreement between a visitor and an advertiser is solely between those parties.
ColorTriox is not responsible for losses or disputes arising from third-party advertisements or transactions.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
ColorTriox and its tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ColorTriox does not guarantee that:
- The website will always be available.
- Every tool will operate without interruption.
- All results will be accurate or complete.
- Every technical issue will be corrected immediately.
- The website will work with every browser, device, or operating system.
- Locally saved data will remain permanently available.
- Every uploaded file will be processed successfully.
- The website will always be free from unexpected technical problems.
Users access and use ColorTriox at their own discretion.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ColorTriox, its owner, developers, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses resulting from the use or inability to use the website.
This may include losses related to:
- Reliance on tool results
- Incorrect color values or conversions
- Printing or display differences
- Loss of locally stored palettes
- Clearing browser data
- Website downtime
- Browser or device incompatibility
- Failed file processing
- Uploaded-file problems
- Third-party websites or services
- Accessibility decisions based only on automated results
- Commercial or design decisions based on generated output
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Service Availability
ColorTriox may change, update, improve, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website at any time.
Changes may include adding new tools, removing old tools, updating conversion methods, changing page designs, correcting errors, changing supported file types, introducing reasonable usage limits, temporarily disabling a feature, or changing third-party service providers.
ColorTriox does not guarantee permanent or uninterrupted availability of every tool.
16. Privacy
Use of ColorTriox may also be subject to the ColorTriox Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy should explain relevant practices involving browser storage, cookies, analytics, advertising technologies, uploaded files, contact forms, server logs, third-party services, and data retention. 17. Changes to These Terms
ColorTriox may update these Terms of Use when new tools or features are introduced, existing functionality changes, privacy or security practices change, third-party services change, legal or operational requirements change, or website policies are revised. The updated date must be displayed at the top of the page. Because ColorTriox does not provide user accounts, do not mention account notifications. Continued use of the website after updated Terms are published means that the user accepts the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the applicable laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory legal rights available under applicable law.
