Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 11, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to ColorTriox.
This Privacy Policy explains how ColorTriox collects, uses, processes, stores, and protects information when visitors use the website and its color-related tools.
By using ColorTriox, visitors acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
ColorTriox does not currently provide or require user registration, user logins, user accounts, user profiles, membership plans, paid subscriptions, public comments, private messages, or account-based cloud storage.
Visitors do not need to provide a username, email address, or password to use the available tools.
Please note that technical information (such as IP addresses and browser metadata) may still be processed automatically by hosting providers, security systems, analytics platforms, or server logs to ensure safe operations.
3. Uploaded Images
Some tools, including the Image Color Picker, may allow users to select or upload an image. The image is used only to display the selected preview, identify specific colors, extract color codes (HEX, RGB, HSL, CMYK), and construct related design palettes.
Technical Verification (Browser-Only Deletion):
Image color extraction is performed locally inside the visitor’s browser. The selected image is not intentionally uploaded to or stored on the ColorTriox server. The image remains available only during the active browser session and is removed immediately (cleared from memory) when the page is refreshed, closed, or reset.
4. Image Processing
Images are processed client-side via JavaScript using the browser’s native FileReader API. Since no image files are transmitted over the network or stored on ColorTriox servers, there is no risk of server-side data leaks or storage access issues.
5. Use of Uploaded Images
Uploaded images are not used to create user profiles, identify individual visitors, publish images publicly, build a permanent image library, sell image data, send marketing messages, or create user accounts.
Furthermore, uploaded images are not used for artificial-intelligence training, machine learning, or algorithm development.
6. Uploaded Image Responsibility
Visitors should select or upload only files they are legally permitted to use. Visitors must not upload files that violate copyright, violate privacy rights, contain illegal material, contain malware or harmful code, or include confidential/sensitive identification data.
ColorTriox is a color analysis tool and must not be used as an image-storage, backup, or file-hosting service.
7. Technical Information
Our website, hosting provider, CDN, and security systems automatically process limited technical metadata. This includes IP addresses, browser types, device categories, operating systems, referrer URLs, and the timestamps of server requests.
This logging is performed for standard operational tasks, including website security, preventing abuse, detecting server errors, troubleshooting, and protecting site availability.
8. Cookies and Browser Storage
ColorTriox uses LocalStorage on your device to store user preferences and tool data, including your theme configurations (dark or light mode settings), saved color palettes, saved gradients, contrast checker configurations, and recent conversion history lists.
This data remains entirely on your device and is not synchronized to a database. It can be cleared at any time by resetting your browser cache, clearing site storage, or using private/incognito windows.
ColorTriox does not directly use non-essential tracking cookies. However, hosting infrastructure, firewalls, or third-party features may use essential cookies or technical identifiers.
9. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to monitor general, anonymous traffic trends, session counts, and page views. This service collects anonymous device settings, approximate locations, and page behavior metrics using browser scripts. This information is used solely to improve our user experience. For more information, please read the Google Privacy Policy.
10. Advertising
ColorTriox displays advertisements served by third-party providers (such as Google AdSense). These advertising networks may use tracking cookies or device identifiers to display contextual ads. ColorTriox does not directly control these advertising partners’ data collection and cookie policies.
11. Third-Party Services
We integrate select third-party services to host and secure the website, optimize metadata, and load assets:
- Hosting Providers (for server storage and default traffic logging)
- Cloudflare (for CDN caching, SSL encryption, and firewall security)
- Google Fonts (for typography delivery)
- Google Analytics & AdSense (for traffic counts and advertisement loops)
- Google reCAPTCHA (for contact form protection)
12. External Links
ColorTriox contains links to external websites and resources. When you click these links, the destination site’s terms and privacy policies apply. ColorTriox is not responsible for the content, safety, or privacy practices of independent third-party websites.
13. How Information Is Used
We process data to provide functional color utilities, manage local color extractions, troubleshoot errors, protect the server, and respond to contact inquiries.
14. Data Retention and Deletion
Our retention guidelines are structured as follows:
- Uploaded images: Uploaded images are retained only for the time required to complete the requested color-extraction process. Uploaded images are automatically deleted immediately (cleared from browser memory) upon refreshing the page, closing the browser tab, or selecting a new image.
- Browser preferences: Saved palettes, histories, and settings remain in LocalStorage until cleared manually by the user.
- Server logs: Default technical, security, and access logs are typically retained for up to 30 days.
15. Data Sharing
ColorTriox does not sell uploaded images or visitor data. We share details only with our verified service providers (hosting, security, and analytics partners) or when required by legal authorities.
16. Data Security
We apply industry-standard security measures (such as SSL encryption, validation tokens, and upload filters). However, although ColorTriox takes reasonable measures to protect information, no website, server, browser, or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
17. Children’s Privacy
ColorTriox does not knowingly collect, store, or target personal information from children. If you believe a child has uploaded identifying information, please contact us to have it removed.
18. Privacy Choices
Visitors may configure their browser parameters to refuse cookies, wipe LocalStorage, or use private browsing. Access requests or contact deletion requests can be sent to our support email.
19. Privacy Requests
For access, correction, or deletion requests, please contact us at the details below. Automatically deleted browser-memory assets (such as local images) cannot be recovered or accessed.
Please submit requests via our Contact Us Page or contact details below.
20. Changes to Privacy Policy
